How the app works

A plain-language walkthrough of common navigation questions, written for this practice project. Nothing here reflects real account data or live functionality.

Getting started

The home screen typically shows a portfolio value at the top, with a line chart underneath that tracks value over the selected time range (1D, 1W, 1M, 3M, YTD, 1Y, ALL). Below the chart, a list shows individual holdings.

Tap or click a time-range label (1D, 1W, 1M, etc.) directly under the chart. The chart redraws to reflect that window, and the percentage change updates to match.

A watchlist lets you track the price of assets you don't currently hold. You add an item by searching for it and selecting "add to watchlist," and remove it the same way in reverse.
